DES MOINES, Iowa — After waiting furever — it was only a few months — a fan-favorite local ice cream shop is opening a new location this week.
Black Cat Ice Cream announced its new storefront in the Valley Junction neighborhood will be open for business on Tuesday, April 1.
Currently, Black Cat operates one location in the Drake neighborhood
“We’ve worked hard and are really excited to have another shop to serve our customers,” Black Cat’s announcement said. “See you Tuesday!”
The shop will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 1-7 p.m. at 134 5th St.
