A business that delivers ice cream sundaes and other sweet treats from its store directly to customers is expanding north of Boston.
The Scoop ‘N Scootery plans to open a new location on the North Shore in the fall, according to the company’s Instagram page.
“We hear you … and we’re coming,” the post reads. “North Shore of MA – fall 2025.”
The location and opening date of the new store were not revealed in the post. A spokesperson for the company said Monday they could not reveal any further details about the new location.
The Scoop ‘N Scootery has three locations in Cambridge, Allston and Arlington. The spokesperson told MassLive the company would be opening a new location in Charlotte, North Carolina, in August.
The company is known for its ice cream sundae delivery service, which makes 500 deliveries a day, according to Scoop ‘N Scootery’s website.
Sundaes that are available for customers include a butter pecan ice cream with a frosted carrot cake core, topped with butterscotch graham crackers and cream cheese frosting, and chocolate ice cream with a chocolate frosted cake core, topped with fudge, chocolate flakes and chocolate mousse whipped cream.
The Arlington location at 112 Massachusetts Ave. and the Cambridge location at 22 Water St. are open from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. from Tuesday through Saturday and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
The Allston location at 75 Linden St. is open 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Tuesdays, 1 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays, 12 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
