To curb the summer heat, there will be an “Ice Cream Social” in Grant County Park on Saturday, June 28, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
It will take place indoors at the Oaks Grove Venue, 144 S. Main St., Crittenden, beside shelter 3.
Everyone in attendance will receive one free scoop of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate or strawberry) with toppings (as supplies last).
Inside the Oaks, to accompany the chilled, delicious treats, The Late Nighter’s will be performing live music — a solid mix of 70’s – 90’s hits. They’ve performed at Edwardo’s in the past as well as other local venues and have been a hit! They will also open for this year’s Autumn Fest.
