Browndog Creamery unveils Better Made and Faygo ice cream flavors

New ice cream flavors, featuring nostalgic Detroit-based brands, are dropping Thursday, June 26 — just in time for this week’s heat wave.

Thanks to Browndog Creamery’s partnership with Better Made Snacks and Faygo, they are churning up flavors including Better Made pretzels and chips covered in chocolate, cheddar cheese popcorn and Faygo’s iconic root beer.

New flavors can be found at all Browndog locations and select participating retailers, with nationwide shipping options available. Come celebrate, sample the new flavors and grab some Better Made and Faygo swag at Browndog Barlor and Restaurant in Northville or Browndog at the Shuffle in Lansing from 4-7 p.m.

“This isn’t just ice cream — it’s Detroit in a scoop,” said Paul Gabriel, co-founder of Browndog Creamery, in a press release. “We’re honored to team up with two hometown icons to bring you something bold, unexpected, and ridiculously delicious.”

Back in 2015, Paul Gabriel and Brian Scherle started Browndog — coined after their Boston terrier named Flash — as a micro-creamery, and have since expanded to three locations, with a restaurant and parlor.
