Last spring, Costco shoppers couldn’t get enough of Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches. As a testament, the brand’s Cookie Monster flavor sold out within a week of being stocked on store shelves! Now, Nightingale is back with a new exclusive: an 18-pack of Strawberry Shortcake ice cream sandwiches, available only at Costco.
However, there’s good news and bad news. Before you jump up and down with excitement, note that the treats will only be available at 132+ locations along the East Coast. That means those out West might be missing out on these mouthwatering ice cream sandwiches. (Lucky for me, I live on the winning coast.)

The good news, for those who do get a chance to purchase the spring confection, is that the brand is known for its “all-natural” and GMO-free ingredients. In addition to using creamy 14% butterfat ice cream and freshly baked cookies to make its notorious sandwiches, Nightingale also promises nut-free and clean-label ingredients in its products. No wonder they’re a hit.
Fans of the brand were quick to proclaim their joy for the Costco newcomer when they saw the news on Instagram. “For this reason, I am going to get a Costco card,” commented one fan. “These soooo good,” wrote another. Tons of Costco shoppers flocked to the comments to beg the chain to bring these ice cream sandwiches to their local stores in places like Arizona, California, and Washington. “On behalf of the south central region I’d like to request this delicacy 🤤” one person petitioned.
Look, strawberry shortcake is a quintessential spring dessert, so it’s no surprise that an ice cream sandwich version of the treat has got people drooling. I guess I’ll need a bigger shopping cart.
