The Creamery, known for its iconic igloos, legendary sundae bars, ice cream nacho bars, and decadent hot cocoa bars, held a grand opening celebration inside of Orland Square Mall on Thursday, April 3.
“We are very excited to be a part of the Orland community,” Leah Sisk, director of Sales and Marketing for Creamery, said.
A cornerstone of south Chicago since 1981, Creamery is a family-owned business dedicated to bringing smiles to its communities year-round.
“We are also looking forward to bringing the family atmosphere of the store out into the community, as well, through partnerships with schools, the Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce, nonprofits and more,” Leah said.
The latest addition to the beloved ice cream chain joins existing locations in Homer Glen, New Lenox, Manhattan, Lemont, Lombard, and Sandwich. Owners Brandon and Jordan Sisk, of Homer Glen, continue to impress by expanding the brand, bringing its signature sweet treats to even more dessert lovers across the region.
Creamery has built a reputation for more than just ice cream. Its seasonal igloos offer a cozy, unique dining experience, while its interactive dessert bars have made it a favorite destination for families and sweet-tooth enthusiasts alike.
“We remain very steady year-round,” Brandon Sisk said.
With its eighth location inside the Simon-owned Orland Square Mall, Creamery aims to bring its nostalgic charm and innovative treats to shoppers and visitors looking for a delicious break.
“This is our first partnership with Simon,” Brandon said about Creamery’s other stand-alone locations. “We are thrilled to be here. The traffic in the mall is good and this is an incredible opportunity.”
Store hours are Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors can find the best entrance near The Cheesecake Factory.
