(WAND) – Check your freezers! Breyers is recalling some of its ice cream due to mislabeling that could expose people to allergens.
The FDA reports Breyer’s Rocky Road ice cream was packaged in the tub for their Chocolate Truffle ice cream flavor, which states it “may contain tree nuts.”
It was packaged with the Rocky Road lid, which lists almonds as an ingredient in the ice cream.
The ice cream was distributed across the U.S. 6,668 cases were recalled with roughly 12 individual units believed to be affected, the FDA said.
Impacted tubs have a July 10, 2026, expiration date and the code 077567457288.
