Kissimmee man arrested for soda can road rage incident

Raul Edwardo Braddock-Toala, 24, was arrested on Thursday for allegedly throwing a soda can at a moving vehicle during a road rage incident, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said. Per the Osceola County arrest warrant, a report was filed on March 3 by the victim, Allen Ellis, claiming that Braddock-Toala attempted to cut him off on Osceola Parkway.When Ellis refused to let him in, stating he had the right of way, Braddock-Toala became upset, honked his horn, went around Ellis’s vehicle, and began throwing things, including a full soda can, that caused over $1,000 worth of damage, Ellis said. Ellis had dash camera footage of the incident and had also written down the licence plate number of the suspect’s vehicle. The dash cam video showed an unknown object being ejected from the suspect’s vehicle, a 2011 Nissan SUV registered to Aadam Ali Syed, hitting Ellis’s car.The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation questioning both Syed and Braddock-Toala regarding the road rage incident.Syed admitted to throwing a Dibs Ice Cream at Ellis’s vehicle only after Ellis allegedly threw something at his vehicle first.Syed told OCSO that Braddock-Toala was the passenger in his vehicle who threw the soda can at the victim’s vehicle.Braddock-Toala has been charged with one second-degree felony charge of shooting/throwing a missile into a dwelling or vehicle and one third-degree felony of criminal mischief. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail and is being held on a $2500 bond.
