It’s the creamy, refreshing collaboration you never knew you needed. Two Michigan companies team up to create some unusual flavors of ice cream.

Browndog Creamery has partnered with Better Made Snack Foods to concoct ice creams made with chocolate-covered pretzels, chocolate-covered potato chips, and cheddar cheese and caramel popcorn.

The new flavors will be available in pints ($9) and scoops at Browndog in downtown Northville (120 East Main St.) and Lansing (Scoops only – 325 Riverfront Dr.) beginning on Thursday, June 26.

They can also be ordered and shipped through Browndog online.

On top of the three Better Made flavors, Browndog has added to its Faygo partnership with Faygo Root Beer Float ice cream, in addition to its lineup of a half dozen other Faygo flavors.

“This isn’t just ice cream, it’s Detroit in a scoop.” said Paul Gabriel, Co-Founder of Browndog Creamery. “We’re honored to team up with two hometown icons to bring you something bold, unexpected, and ridiculously delicious.”

The three Better Made Browndog flavors are as follows:

  • Detroit Mix – Cheddar cheese popcorn ice cream swirled with salted caramel.
  • Snack Attack – Peanut butter ice cream with chocolate-covered Better Made pretzels.
  • Motown Chip – Malted vanilla ice cream with chocolate-covered Better Made potato chips and caramel ribbons.

Both the Northville and Lansing Browndog locations will throw launch parties on Thursday, June 26 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. featuring samples of each flavor and take-home swag.
