Just in time for warmer weather, a new ice cream shop is open for business in Lubbock.
After almost a year of construction and renovation, The Rolling Cones, is finally open for business at their new brick and mortar location. And for those who have been in Lubbock for a long time, the building looks a lot different, but the location is a historic one.
The Rolling Cones Opens In Lubbock
The Rolling Cones has been a popular food truck in Lubbock. Known for its delicious ice cream served in cups or cones and with different add-ons available. They also have ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes and floats, dipped cheesecakes, ice cream nachos, and more.

And they have been doing all of this from a popular food truck. And on Monday, April 14, they are finally opening their new location.
The Rolling Cones opened at noon on Monday and will close at 10:00 p.m. They are located at the old historic Tom and Bingo’s location at 3006 34th Street. Their hours will be noon to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and noon to 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

The Rolling Cones Takes Over the Tom and Bingo’s Building
Tom and Bingo’s opened at 3006 34th Street back in 1952 before closing in 2024. The building went through a massive renovation to get to where its at today.
