MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two people, in the middle of a DoorDash delivery, were arrested for speeding, according to the Mt. Juliet Police Department.
Police said the two were going 51 miles per hour in a 35 MPH speed zone on Central Pike.
During the traffic stop, police found that the two were wanted suspects. A 35-year-old man had outstanding warrants for felony probation violation and assault. His passenger, a 36-year-old woman, was also wanted for assault.
The pair was delivering ice cream during the stop. Mt. Juliet PD officers made sure the food still made it to its destination.
