When my son was 4 he wanted ice cream at a restaurant.
But didn’t know how to ask the waitress.
So I gave him a line:
“Hello ma’am, may I please have some ice cream?”
He practiced it three times.
Then walked up and nailed it.
Still today, he asks for a “script” when he’s nervous.
Courage is teachable.
In fact:
If you can give people the words… they’ll find their voice.
