Throughout the museum, visitors can learn fun facts about ice cream.”I think my favorite one is the origin of soft serve ice cream,” said Jacob “Almond” Leithner, general manager. “It was an ice cream truck that broke down and in order to save the product before returning home and losing all of it was serving it soft and in a cone or in a cup.”Museum-goers can learn about the world’s wackiest ice cream flavors, like one made with spaghetti and an unique recipe served in Alaska, which involves whipping caribou fat together with salmon berries, fish tundra greens and seal oil.
