Maren Morris debuts new Van Leeuwen Ice Cream flavor inspired by new album

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Maren Morris debuted a new ice cream flavor with Van Leeuwen inspired by her latest album “Dreamsicle.”

The Nashville-based singer hosted a special scooping session at the Van Leeuwen store in the Gulch on Tuesday afternoon, where she served “Maren Morris Orange Dreamsicle.”

Morris said the ice cream is supposed to make you think of an ice cream truck coming through your neighborhood selling orange push pops in the summertime.

Here are instructions on how to watch WSMV4 live on various platforms.

“It’s so delicious and refreshing on a hot summer day,” Morris said.

Morris said her latest album, which was released on May 9, is about self-acceptance, healing and a little bit of humor.

During the scooping session, 100% of the proceeds from the ice cream sales went to Second-Harvest Food Bank.

“That’s what this is all about – music, community and giving back,” Morris said.
