Aldi is launching a brand-new Dubai chocolate ice cream

Another day, another Dubai chocolate announcement, but this time it’s Aldi who have announced a brand-new way to eat the delicious pistachio bar…in ice cream form!

With over 6.5 million Google searches alone in March, it’s no surprise to see that Aldi are jumping on the band wagon – but with an entirely unique product that we’ve not seen before and frankly, we are very excited about it.

The new Dubai Chocolate Ice Cream is a moreish mixture of decadent milk chocolate with sweet, nutty pistachio pieces that gives it a deliciously crunchy, wafer-like texture. It doesn’t seem to include the Kataifi pastry which is typically inside the chocolate bar, so we wonder exactly how authentic this ice cream tastes – once we try it, we will report back!

Landing in stores from 14 April, the Dubai Chocolate Ice Cream will retails for £3.99 for 500ml – a much more affordable price compared to some of the chocolate bars on offer. But you’ll have to set your alarms – as it’s guaranteed to sell out quickly once in stores.

Want to know which Dubai chocolate bar is the best? From LIDL to Lindt, we’ve tried them and we give our honest thoughts in our review.

Sick of waiting for stock to come back in stores? We’ve created our own Dubai chocolate recipe so you can DIY at home and it’s way easier than you think. Plus, we’ve used an alternative ingredient that’s easier to find than Kataifi pastry.
