Commerce First Methodist Church plans a number of upcoming events, including an ice cream event, a welcome reception for its new associate minister and Vacation Bible School. Details include:
- Donate While You Dine — Join the church on Thursday, April 24, from 3-9 p.m. at Culver’s of Commerce. A portion of the sales will be donated to Commerce First Methodist Church.
- Welcome Reception — The church will welcome its new Associate Minister, the Rev. April Briant, following worship on Sunday, April 27, with a catered lunch reception in the Family Life Center. “Please come join us for April’s first Sunday and the opportunity to introduce yourself and properly welcome her to our church,” church leaders said. “If you haven’t already RSVP’s, please contact the church office to indicate you are coming NLT April 23.”
- VBS — Save the date for Vacation Bible School on June 1-5. This year’s theme is, “Waves of Wonder,” and will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. nightly. VBS is for ages Preschool through 5th grade. Dinner provided. Details to follow.
