Horseheads Historical Society Hosts Ice Cream Social to Celebrate Local History

HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WENY) — The Horseheads Historical Society held its annual Ice Cream Social Saturday afternoon, bringing the community together to honor significant milestones in local history. The event celebrated the birthday of Eugene Zimmerman, a prominent local artist better known as “Zim,” who was born on May 26, 1862. Additionally, the gathering marked the 73rd anniversary of the Horseheads Historical Society.
