Police are searching for thieves who stole more than just soft serve from a general store in East Melbourne last week.
It is understood the two large plastic ice cream cones, which have been on the front of the store on Hotham Street since it opened in 1974, were stolen on Sundae, 25 May.
Officers were told the offenders stole the two cones and damaged CCTV cameras at the business about 2am.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
