Last year, Bham Now reported the opening of a new ice cream shop, Sweet Caroline’s, in Gardendale.
Now, they are opening up a brand-new location and adding unique snacks in addition to ice cream.

Sweet Caroline’s is more than just a nod to Neil Diamond’s hit song in 1969.
Ever since it opened last year, the shop has taken off and has been able to provide Gardendale with gourmet ice cream and treats. And the fun doesn’t stop there. Just last week, owner Katie King announced the addition of 12 new flavors and gourmet waffles.
The newly renovated shop has more room for new flavor creations and more guests to welcome.
“We really wanted a space we could make our own. And, we wanted a patio which we now have!
We are committed to Sweet Caroline’s for the long haul, so a new fresh start we could have a fresh start in, just seemed right.”

Sweet Caroline’s is the gift that keeps on giving. Their grand opening will be held this Saturday from 7AM-9PM and will be giving the first 50 customers 50% off one item for the entire year.
