Our lives are about to get a little bit sweeter. The Columbus-based life cream shop Dulce Vida announced yesterday that its newest location will open on May 25.
The new Dulce Vida is located at 2561 S. Hamilton Rd.
Dulce Vida’s grand opening celebration, which will take place from 1-5 p.m. on May 25, will include surprises, games, gifts and the first 50 children to stop by will receive free popsicles.

The popular spot offers ice cream, paletas and popsicles in more than 40 different flavors. It also sells a wide variety of other Mexican snacks.
Currently, Dulce Vida operates eateries on the city’s Northwest Side (7370 Sawmill Rd.), in the Short North (1127 N. High St.), on Northeast Side (6146 Cleveland Ave.) and the West Side (4201 W. Broad St.). The new storefront will be its fifth location.
