I love Ragdoll cats. Other than Maine Coons, I really think Ragdolls are the only breed of cat I’d consider having. All cats are awesome, but those two breeds truly have my heart!
On Saturday, May 12th, one Ragdoll cat got quite a bit of attention. He’s a rare all-over brown color, and he’s got the cutest bit of white on his chest. he honestly looks like a fluffy ice cream sandwich, and we can’t get enough:
Toast the Ragdoll is the most beautiful boy I’ve ever seen. I like that his fur is such a rich, creamy brown color! It’s so warm and inviting!

Toast is the oldest of two Ragdolls, both of whom are this pretty shade of brown. His sister’s name is Hazel, and telling them apart is easy: he has a little white patch on his chest. It looks like a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Where their mom gets these cats is unclear, but whoever is breeding them is doing an excellent job. Both of these kitties are happy, healthy, and breathtakingly gorgeous! They almost don’t look like Ragdolls at all, when you consider that a “normal” Ragdoll looks like this:

However, they are! There are a few ways to tell:
-
The shape and size of their markings.
-
The silky, long texture of their coat.
-
The slight darker coloring at the “points” of their faces: snout, ears, paws).
Toast and Hazel both have stunning green eyes, which has led people to question whether they’re “real” Ragdolls or not, but they are. They’re most likely Mink Ragdolls, which are an overall darker cat that can have green or even teal eyes.
Pure brown cats in general are rare: most often, we see brown Tabbies, or brown mixed with other colors. Toast’s coat is astounding, and if I could, trust that I would snatch him right up!
