LENAWEE COUNTY — Summer is quickly approaching and, with the change in seasons, comes the opening of the area’s best seasonal ice cream parlors.
From traditional chocolate malts to soft-served twist cones and banana splits, Lenawee County offers a wide variety of favored spots to beat the heat, from The Spotted Cow to Bobbye’s Pizza Place and Dairyland and Frosty Boy.
We asked the community to vote for their favorite and The Spotted Cow came out on top with 42.66% of the vote. The parlor, located at 1336 N. Main St. in Adrian, offers a variety of traditional and unique sweet treats year-round.
Hudson’s Bobbye’s Pizza Place and Dairyland came in second with 23.85% of the vote. The eatery at 102 E. Main St. serves up a monthly special and fan favorites like barking pretzel.
Frosty Boy took home third place with 15.14% of the vote. The parlor serves up fresh root beer floats and $1.50 cones.
