Okay, when I say you need to run to Trader Joe’s, I mean it. Why? Because the banana pudding ice cream is back, baby!
Instagram food influencer Talia Heskett shared the good news recently. According to her post, not only is the banana pudding ice cream back, but so are two other fan favorites: spicy mango lemonade and pineapple sparkling water.
While I’m definitely a fan of both the mango lemonade and pineapple sparkling water (perfect for those warm summer days), the real showstopper here is the banana pudding ice cream. It’s like the Magnolia Bakery version, with its creamy vanilla pudding, fresh sliced bananas, and crunchy vanilla wafers. But Trader Joe’s does it one better by adding a swirl of salted caramel, giving it an extra layer of flavor you didn’t even know you needed.
I’m going to be real with you—banana pudding isn’t even my thing. But this ice cream? It’s so damn good, I can’t get enough of it. It’s become my go-to summer dessert. If you haven’t tried it yet, trust me, you will love it.
Now, here’s the thing: we don’t know for sure if it’s back in every store. Trader Joe’s hasn’t officially announced the ice cream’s return, but that hasn’t stopped people (lol, me) from hunting it down. “I have been waiting all year,” one fan wrote. “Banana pudding ice cream 😍😋🤤🥰 I’ve been waiting all year for you 🤗🤗 Wish we could keep you all year long 😢,” read another comment. Honestly, Trader Joe’s needs to explain why all my favorites are seasonal!
But I’m not giving up—I’ll be stocking up on this treat to make sure I have enough for the entire year. And you should, too. So, head to your local TJ’s and grab this ice cream before it’s gone again.
